Pet Sitter Plus is the portal/software that we use for client scheduling, staff scheduling, billing, etc. It will be loaded onto your phone just like an application. You will utilize this software to access your assigned visits for the day, pets information, client contact details, routines for the pets you are visiting, etc.
Our visit lengths are:
20 minutes (Cat visits)/ 15-20 minutes / 25-30 minutes/ 40-45 minutes/ One hour
Acknowledging Visits: As soon as you wake up in the morning, please acknowledge your visits in the portal.
All employees must check in and out of their visits in the client portal.
The portal utilizes google maps to track the location of the employee at the times of check-in and check-out.
If any employee is found to be cutting visits short, he or she will face possible termination.
Once inside a clients account, you will view the pet's ROUTINE. This set of instructions has been typed by the client and is to be followed. Read this routine THREE times to ensure accuracy.
Client Routine Changes: When an employee learns of a permanent routine change, he/she must tell the owner (via the feedback option) that he or she must change the portal details. Also, YOU, as the walker should email INFO@SUBURBANPETS.COM to notify the manager that the client has to change the routine.
Part of your job is to provide feedback, via the portal, after every visit. This means that even if the client is home, you must type feedback at the end of the visit reporting if the dog peed/pooped, etc. These notes are to be kept positive, light and friendly. Provide a picture of the pet as well. Press "Save and Email" after typing the feedback.
When in the portal account of a client, click on the pet's name. The client may have entered information about their pet including sex, date of birth and medical conditions. It is important to know this information.
All visits take place within a two hour time frame chosen by the client. If the client's pet has special needs or is a puppy, there will be a note that says the visit MUST be within a small time frame. Look for the word "MUST".
